The Berkeley is a minimally structured, custom foot orthotic based upon a scan of the feet and modified with computer aided design. The Berkeley is designed to align the midfoot and hindfoot and provide comfort cushioning at the heel.

Q. Is it for me?
A. Nearly anyone can benefit from well-made custom foot orthotics. Boston Pedorthic's reputation making, Beacon Advanced Custom Orthotic is the gold standard, but we realized that not everyone needs the same level of detail. So we designed the Berkeley Custom Foot Orthotic to be simpler and more moderately priced.
This product is not recommend for persons with individuated feet structure and sensitivity such as diabetes and complications, neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease, deformities of the foot, neuromas, and other conditions. If you have any questions, consult your physician.

Q. What Can I Expect?
A. You can expect a substantial improvement over other custom foot orthotics. But be prepared for an initial adjustment period as your feet get adjusted to more structure.

Q.Will they fit in all my shoes?
A. It depends. If all of your shoes have the same general shape and depth and have a removable inlay, then yes. It will replace the innersole of most running and walking shoes. They are not suitable for high heels or narrowly constructed fashion shoes (although orthotics for these typs of shoes can be made upon request at the same price, but will not offer the same level of comfort)
Q.Are they durable?
A. Yes. They are made of ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA), a non-toxic foam used for mid-soling in athletic shoes. Compression rate correlates with weight, activity level and torque pressures.
Q. Are they adjustable?
A. Yes. All Boston Pedorthic orthotics are fully adjustable across all planes of motion.
